From a young age, my path was carved out by a passion that might seem unusual to many. As a child, I thrived in solitude, finding inspiration in the intricacies of architecture and engineering. While my peers were captivated by conventional childhood interests, I was engrossed in the details of how and why things were constructed. This fascination naturally evolved into a keen interest in design regulations and safety standards, which, admittedly, didn’t resonate with my classmates. But this unique inclination set the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of purpose.
In middle school, my love for design took a specific turn towards automotive engineering. I would spend hours sketching cars, creating mock brochures with every conceivable detail, and immersing myself in the world of automotive design. This passion only intensified in high school, where I eagerly embraced both architecture and engineering classes. My projects became known for their creativity and depth, further fueling my drive to pursue a career in car design.
However, life took a profound turn during my senior year. The sudden loss of my mother to cancer was a jarring interruption to my plans. The impact was overwhelming, and amidst the whirlwind of grief, graduation, and adult responsibilities, my childhood dreams seemed to fade into the background.
Years passed, and while I achieved success in real estate, I felt a deep disconnect from my true passions. It wasn’t until the summer of 2022 that I experienced a pivotal realization. The enthusiastic, curious child who once dreamed of designing cars had been overshadowed by the demands of adulthood. Reflecting on my past, I recognized that I had lost touch with the very essence of what drove me.
That’s when Teyko was born. While using a detailing product on my cherished car, a spark ignited. I envisioned creating my own line of superior automotive products. What began as a personal challenge quickly evolved into Teyko Automotive Lifestyle LLC, a company dedicated to high-quality car care products.
At Teyko, we embrace traditional values of car care, favoring time-tested carnauba wax over newer, less proven technologies like ceramic or graphene. Our products cater to enthusiasts who take pride in maintaining their vehicles themselves, and every detail, from our product design to our website, reflects our commitment to their enjoyment.
Despite the personal challenges and lack of familial support I’ve faced, Teyko has flourished, and my mission has expanded. Beyond crafting exceptional car care products, I am driven to inspire and support the next generation. My goal is to provide the guidance and resources I wished for as a child, helping young dreamers realize their potential and build a better future.
With new products in development and a growing range of lifestyle accessories, Teyko continues to evolve. Our dedication to excellence and philanthropy underscores our commitment to not just car enthusiasts, but to nurturing the bright stars of tomorrow.
